An Upper Back Lift helps to remove excess skin of the upper back for a slimmer contour, free of skin rolls.
What is an Upper Back Lift?
An Upper Back Lift, or bra line lift, is a surgical procedure that treats excess skin of the upper back regions. At The Oaks Plastic Surgery (TOPS), our patients often complain of excess skin in this area after weight loss or with age. As with many plastic surgical procedures, the surgical technique used to address this area depends on the severity of the excess skin. In mild cases, certain non-surgical or minimally invasive procedures can be performed to help tighten and lift the excess skin and fatty tissue. In other cases, surgery is required to achieve maximum results. Extensive measures are taken by Dr. Danielle Andry or Dr. Nandi Wijay to conceal these scars as best as possible and use aggressive scar management techniques to keep the scars as light and inconspicuous as possible. The techniques used by The Oaks Plastic Surgery will keep the scar hidden behind the bra line.
